We back up our quality driver network with our Loss Assurance Program, which provides you with rapid access to up to $25,000 of coverage for every load you send with Curri. And, for loads valued in excess of $25,000, we’ll still have you covered with our $250,000 cargo insurance that covers every load sent with Curri.

How to Submit a Curri Cargo Claim
While every Curri delivery is handled with the utmost care and diligence, we understand that things happen. In the event that your cargo is damaged during delivery, our dedicated Claims Team is always ready to help make it right.
How long do you normally wait for freight claims to be processed? Weeks? Months? Cargo claims have a long history of being a drawn-out process with industry standards ranging from 1-4 months. Not to mention how difficult it is to navigate through automated phone tree prompts or the tedious forms you're required to fill out just to begin your cargo insurance claim.
At Curri, most claims are resolved in 3-5 business days, and submitting your claim is one e-mail away: simply e-mail claims@curri.com. Our Claims Team will get back to you within 1-2 business days.

Provide Details About Your Shipment
In order for Curri to process your cargo claim, our Claims Team will need you to provide a receipt or invoice for the wholesale cost of the lost or damaged item(s). If you provided the declared value (optional) of your entire shipment when you booked the delivery, we will also look at this. Note: Declaring a value for your shipment ahead of time helps expedite your claim in the event of lost or damaged items.
Provide Additional Information and Photos
Photos of damaged items are great to have and can help expedite your claim. You may be asked to provide additional pictures, so please do not destroy or dispose of any damaged items or packaging materials until your claim has been processed. In addition, a detailed explanation of the cargo and a copy of any documents supporting costs incurred allows us to process your claim faster. The more information that you can provide to the Claims Team, the quicker your claim will be resolved.

Delays in cargo insurance claims have become an unfortunate norm, with industry standards ranging from 1-4 months. At Curri, claims are generally processed within 3-5 business days of the day you report them. The fastest way for your claim to be resolved is to get Curri credit. You can also request a check, which on average payment is received in 5-7 days after the claim has been processed and approved.
