Corken Steel Products, a leader in distribution of HVAC, Fabrication, and Roofing Products, operates 18 locations across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. With a fleet of 80+ vehicles and a driver count to match, they deliver a range of products, from a small box of filters to truck loads of fabricated metal. Their fleet includes a mix of commercial and non-commercial vehicles such as sprinters vans, box trucks, flatbeds, and moffett trucks. A key competitive advantage for Corken Steel is their customer service and efficient delivery service, which they aim to manage as a value-added service rather than an additional charge for customers.
Challenges
Jon Hobbs, Regional Operations Manager, was tasked with increasing fleet utilization across multiple locations and divisions while improving on-time deliveries and minimizing operational inefficiencies.
Historically, Corken Steel relied on a manual, pen-and-paper system to manage 240+ daily deliveries across multiple locations, often resulting in overlapping of routes, missed opportunities for route optimization, and unsatisfactory customer satisfaction.

Solution Implementation
Corken Steel implemented Curri’s fleet management system, starting with an initial deployment at two locations and 25 vehicles.
The seamless onboarding and ease of use enabled Corken Steel to quickly scale operations with Curri’s platform. Within a month, seven locations and nearly 40 trucks are integrated with Curri's platform, representing approximately 50% of the company's fleet.
The team plans to add 20 more vehicles by summer 2025.

Faster, Scalable Onboarding: Curri enabled Corken Steel to onboard 25 vehicles in the first month, and within three months, an additional 15 were brought online without interrupting daily operations.
